Year | Builder | Opus | Activity | 1856 | Carl August Buchholz | new organ | 1893 | Gebrüder Dinse | rebuild |
- In the years between 1856 and 1870, an unknown organ builder built an organ for the chapel of the Elisabeth-Stift founded in 1856 in Berlin. Several characteristics point to Carl August Buchholz as the maker of the organ, but Albert Lang or Ferdinand Dinse can also be seen as builders. The organ was a gift from a Prussian princess.
- In 1893 a new chapel was built. The organ is newly built, but almost all the material was taken from the old organ. This work may have been carried out by the Gebr. Dinse, but also Wilhelm Sauer is mentioned as an organ builder. Later on, the Octave 2' was replaced by a Voix Céleste. A new Octave 2' was installed during a restoration.
