Built by: Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri (1997)
In 1997 the Grönlund organ factory completed a four-manual organ for the church of Norrfjärden. It is a reconstruction of Paulus Müller's two-manual organ from 1607, which originally stood in the German church in Stockholm. This organ was expanded in the years 1622-1625 with a third manual. Before that, it also had a Brustwerk, which, however, was soon removed. In 1779 the instrument was sold to the church of Övertorneå in the north of Sweden. Only Hauptwerk and Oberwerk were built up here, because there was no space available for more. The Rückpositiv is built as a separate organ in Hedenäset, also in northern Sweden. The pedal has disappeared. Both organs are still present and could serve as an example for the reconstruction. The new organ has a Brustwerk with only a Regal 8'. It can be played from the manual of the Hauptwerk. The organ was dedicated on the first Sunday of Advent, November 30, 1997.
