- Adviseur bij de bouw was Manfred Kroh uit Fulda. Bij oplevering waren tien registers niet geplaatst. In 2001 voerde firma Hoffmann een grote revisie uit.
- Volgens een artikel in Acta Organologica (Band 31) werd in 1884 een orgel in de Stadkirche in Tann an der Rhön geplaatst, dat afkomstig was uit de Johanniskirche in Mainz. Dit orgel werd in 1830 door Bernhard Dreymann in deze kerk geplaatst, maar het betrof een orgel van Franz Xaver Rippel, afkomstig uit de kapel van het Welschnonnenkloster, dat door Dreymann werd uitgebreid. Het lot van dit Rippel-Dreymann-orgel is niet bekend.
- Ook is er in het Zeitschrift für Instrumentenbau van 11 september 1889 melding van een geheel nieuw orgel van Adam Eifert uit 1889 voor de 'hiesige Gemeinde'. Het is niet duidelijk voor welke kerk dit orgel gebouwd was.
