- Joachim Wagner built a new organ for the Marienkirche in Angermünde in 1742-1744. The beautiful organ case was made in the Berlin workshop of Johann Christoph and Friedrich Christian Glume. In 1845 the organ was restored by Carl August Buchholz, who modified the stoplist.
- In the years 1967-1974, the organ was restored in two phases by the company Alexander Schuke. In 2003 Schuke reconstructed the original manuals.
- A special feature of the organ are the four angels with timpani, that can be operated from the console.
