The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1784 by Joseph Höß
The organ in the Sankt Verenakirche in Bad Wurzach was built in 2004 by Link Orgelbau. The organ case dates from 1784 and was probably made by Joseph Höß. Peter Paul Braun built a new organ in the old case in 1863 with 21 registers and cone chests. Carl Gottlob Weigle renovated the organ in 1884 and expanded it with four new stops. Plans for a new construction by the Gebrüder Späth in the early twentieth century were never implemented. But in 1950-1951 Albert Reiser built a new organ with three manuals and 37 registers in the old case. This organ had electropneumatic action and cone chests. When Link built the new organ, some of the existing pipework from the old instrument was taken over. The rest was newly manufactured.
