In the years 1866-1868 a new parish church was built in Chrastava in neo-gothic style. Josef Prediger built an organ for this church, that was consecrated in 1869. The organ was altered in both the late 19th and early 20th century. A restoration was completed in 1959 by local organ builder Pavel Žur.
