- Christoph Donati built a two-manual organ in 1683 for the Schloßkirche in Eisenberg. In 1733 the instrument was revised by Heinrich Trost and expanded with one stop Later, the Trompeta was replaced by a Flaute Travers 8' and the Schallmeyen-Baß 4' of the pedal by an Octavbaß 8'. Other modifications followed in 1776 by Christian Gottlob and Gotthold Heinrich Donati, in 1862 by Carl Ernst Poppe and in 1900. The prospect pipes had to be removed in 1917, after which they were replaced by zinc ones.
- Gerhard Kirchner carried out a reconstruction in the years 1959-1963. Ullrich Dähnert was consultant during these works. The company Sauer supplied the pipework, which was accurately manufactured in Donati style. A wind engine was also installed in 1963. A final overhaul was required in 1977. This was performed by Wilhelm Rühle. The organ was thoroughly restored again around 1988, this time by the Eule company.
