Siegfried Sauer built a new organ for the Sankt Remigiuskirche in Borken in 1989. Consultants were Ekkehard Stier and Karl Middeler. Karl Middeler and Thomas König played the organ during the dedication on November 5, 1989. Two more stops were added to the Rückpositiv in 1995. These stops could be used for the first time on the first Sunday of Advent, December 3rd, 1995.
