Year | Builder | Opus | Activity | 1927 | Alfred Hunter & Son | new organ | 1968 | Harrison & Harrison | rebuild | 2001 | Builder unknown | transfer/relocate |
- In the Lower Chapel of Eton College a new organ was built in 1925-1927 by Hunter & Son in a case designed by W.J. Tapper. It still contained pipe work by Lewis & Co. from 1891, from the previous organ. In 1968 Harrison & Harrison converted the organ. The action became electro-pneumatic. On the advice of Kenneth Malcolmson, a new Positive was placed and the organ was revoiced.
- The organ was replaced in 2000 by a completely new Tickell instrument. In addition, the Tapper case was reused. Hunter's interior was transferred to the church of Saint Alfege in Greenwich, where an organ of Spurden Rutt from 1934 was present.
