Under the advice of Ghislain Potvlieghe Jean-Pierre Draps restored the Van Peteghem organ in the parish church Aspelare in 1971. It has been reconstructed to its original state. On September 12, 1971 it was inaugurated with a concert by Willy Climan. The original organ was rebuilt and modernized in 1890 by Charles Anneessens. The Nazard is missing, the slide is empty.
