- Adviseurs bij de bouw waren Heinz Otto Kuhlemann en Hatto Ständer. Ständer verzorgde ook het inwijdingsconcert op 23 oktober 1988.
- In 2015 is het orgel door de firma Mühleisen gerenoveerd. Bij deze werkzaamheden is de dispositie gewijzigd. Op het Hauptwerk is de Scharff vervangen door een nieuwe Flûte Harmonique. De Scharff is verplaatst naar het Rückpositiv, waar de Zymbel is verwijderd. De Krummhorn van het Rückpositiv is vervangen door een nieuwe Schalmey 8'. Op het Schwellwerk is de Trompette Harmonique 4' opgeschoven en aangevuld tot een achtvoets register. Het pedaal is uitgebreid met een Untersatz 32', gedeeltelijk gecombineerd met de Subbass 16'. En de Schalmey 4' van het pedaal is vervangen door een nieuwe Clairon 4'.
