Gebaut von: Andreas Schneider (Höxter) (1682)
Andreas Schneider built an organ for the abbey church of Corvey in 1682. The instrument had two manuals and pedal. The windchests were spring chests. In 1718, Matthias Naumann expanded the organ with a positive organ. However, the instrument was reconstructed in 1830, propably by Johann Adam Oestreich. The positive was removed again and the original windchest of the Brustwerk was replaced by a slider chest. Under the advice of Rudolf Reuter, the organ was completely restored by Paul Ott in the years 1963-1965. The company Sauer carried out a restoration in 1994.
