In 1962 the Austin Organ Company built a new main organ for Christ Church Cathedral in Hartford, Connecticut. This instrument was expanded in 2003 and supplemented with a separate Antiphonal Organ, which can also be played from the central console. The new organ has received an organ case that is derived from the old case of the Hook & Hastings organ from around 1860, that stood in the church until 1962. The organ has two manuals and pedal. The registers can optionally be used on both manuals.
