In 1981, the Potvlieghe-De Maeyer company built a new main organ for the abbey church in Affligem. Consultant was Antoon Fauconnier. The organ has sixteen stops on two manuals and pedal. It was dedicated on August 30, 1981. This was followed by a concert by Kristiaan Van Ingelgem.
