In 1804 Joseph Binvignat built a two manual organ for the old church of Stokkem. The organ was rebuilt in 1864 by Th. Ruef and transferred to the newly built church. In doing so, he radically modified the instrument. The action was made pneumatic and the stop list was altered in a more romantic style. In 1971, the Verschueren company in Tongeren installed a new organ in the old organ case. Old pipework and a windchest by Pereboom & Leijser were used for this. In 2008 a restoration of the organ has been carried out.
