- The town hall of Bree is located in a former Augustinian monastery. In 1884, the Sint Michiels College was established in the buildings. An organ was installed in the chapel - that was build in 1717 - in 1896, built by the Merklin-Schütze company. It was originally built for Leopoldsburg. It was actually a two-manual instrument, but was changed to a one-manual organ during the transfer.
- In 1992 the building was decommissioned by the school board. The buildings were sold to the city of Bree. After a restoration in the years 1996-2004, the building was opened as a town hall. The organ is in unplayable condition.
