1965 Orgelbau Kuhn AG  restoration

One of the oldest organs in Switzerland is located in the Waldkapelle near the village of Visperterminen in Valais. The organ was probably built in 1619. It was certainly not built for the chapel as this building was constructed in 1652. The organ may have been originally built for the parish church of Visp. It is not known when the organ was installed in the chapel. The chapel was completely restored in 1965. The Kuhn company carried out a restoration of the organ. The instrument was put back into use on July 2, 1965.
