The organ in the Marienkirche in Osterode was built in 1678. However, the current organ case was only installed in 1724 by Tischler Heinen. The instrument was restored in 1955 by Paul Ott. A new restoration was carried out in 2008-2009 by Martin Hillebrand. The pedal was reduced from four to one stop.
