  • The organ in Peterhouse Chapel was built in 1765 by John Snetzler. The instrument originally had three manuals and no pedal. In 1894 it was largely rebuilt by William Hill. The original organ case was preserved, as well as part of the old pipe work. Noel Mander built a new organ in the case in 1964 using the material from Snetzler, supplemented with new pipe work.
  • For the years 2020-2022 a reconstruction of the originally Snetzler organ is planned, with a double console: one with the original Snetzler stops and the second one with a modern Swell Organ and independent Pedal Organ. The work will be carried out by a collaboration between Flentrop Orgelbouw and Klais Orgelbau.
