In 1872 werd in Cambridge een nieuwe Town Hall gebouwd, de New Town Hall. De firma Bedwell & Sons plaatste in 1890 een orgel in het gebouw. Later werd de New Town Hall samen met de naastgelegen Shire Hall verbonden en kreeg het complex de naam Guildhall. In de jaren dertig is een geheel nieuwe Guildhall op deze locatie gebouwd. Het orgel is hoogstwaarschijnlijk afgebroken.
