- The organ of the Marienkirche in Bad Segeberg was originally built by the Danish organ maker Jürgen Marcussen in the years 1872-1874. Six more registers of him have survived. Renovations were carried out by the company Emanuel Kamper in 1937, 1959 and 1970 and Detlef Kleuker in 1976 and 1984. The current instrument has three manuals and 41 stops. The organ case is also completely new.
- There are advanced plans for the construction of a new organ by Winterhalter Orgelbau. The old organ of the church was dismantled in December 2021 and has been sold to Poland, where the material will be used for the construction of two new organs. It is expected that the new organ can be inaugurated in 2024.
