This cabinet organ was originally owned by the monarch Carl Anselm von Thurn und Taxis (1733-1805), who donated it to the Trugenhofen church in 1792. The organ must be dated to about 1760. Its maker is unknown, although some (Fischer and Wohnhaas, for example) think it could have been Johann Mitterreither from Graz. In 1985 the instrument was restored by the company Link.
