The organ contains older material: from 1897 by Friedrich Goll Orgelbau AG
A new organ was constructed for the Jesuitenkirche in Luzern by Metzler in 1981-1982. Tthree stops were taken over from the previous organ of the church, built by the firm Goll in 1897. The organ case was also taken over, but radically modified. Consultant was Jakob Kobelt. On June 27, 1982 the organ was inaugurated with a recital by Eduard Kaufmann, followed by a concert by Monika Henking.
