Het huidige orgel van het Sheldonian Theatre is een werk van Harrison & Harrison uit 1963, maar het is geplaatst in een kas uit 1877, ontworpen door Thomas Graham Jackson voor een nieuw orgel van Henry Willis. Veel van het pijpwerk van Willis werd ook overgenomen. Het orgel is in de loop van de tijd in verval geraakt. In 1997 waren er plannen een electronisch orgel te plaatsen met luidsprekers achter het front. Het pijpwerk zou daarbij gewoon blijven staan.
