Built by: Casavant Frères (1968) - opus 2955
In 1968, the Casavant firm completed a three-manual organ for the Colorado State University Music Building in Fort Collins. It was designed in the style of North German Baroque organs from the 17th and 18th centuries. The instrument was restored in 2008 by the Parsons firm and transferred to the Recital Hall. The twelve largest zinc front pipes have been replaced by tin ones. On February 20, 2009 the organ was put back into service with a concert by Joel Bacon.
