  • The organ in the First Church of Monson was built in 1892 by the firm Johnson & Son as their opus 781. The church building was dedicated in June 1873. The new organ was dedicated in November 1892. It replaced a smaller instrument. The funds were donated to the church by Sophia B. Holmes and Esther E. Holmes. The organ is located at the front side of the church room, behind the pulpit.
  • In 1927 an electric blower was installed. The action was electrified in 1953 by Martin G. Becker. The original slider chests were still in use. The compass of the pedal board was enlarged from 30 to 32 tones. On May 10, 1953, the organ was inaugurated again with a recital by Roland Pomerat. A new electric console was installed in 1987 by Czelusniak & Dugal.
  • After the town had been struck by a tornado on June 1st, 2011, the church was damaged. Lucky enough the building could be restored. The organ was overhauled in 2015 by Czelusniak & Dugal.
