Built by: Carl Barckhoff (1891)
Carl Barckhoff built a new organ for Saint Joseph's Church in Lancaster, PA in 1891. The instrument fell into serious disrepair over time and was retired around 1970. Luckily it ws not demolished. In the years 1985-1986, a group of parishioners carried out a restoration in which Paul Maye of the firm of James R. McFarland & Co. repaired the pipework and replaced it with new ones where necessary. The reeds were renovated in 2004 by the company Eastern Organ Pipes.
