In the parish church of Sankt Luzen in Hechingen is one of the oldest organ cases in Germany, made by Conrad Beckh in 1589. The organ was built with seven stops on the manual. The organ has two prospects, one to the nave of the church and one to the presbytery. When the interior of the church was renovated to Baroque, the organ was also provided with a completely new interior. This was made by Urban Reitter in 1713. After several renovations, the organ was no longer in its original state. Werner Bosch restored it as much as possible in 1975. Since 1980 the organ has been voiced in a meantone temperament.
