In 1963 Arie Verduijn installed a two-manual unit organ in the Kruisvindingskerk in Achel. The organ had five ranks (Prestant 8', Flute 4', Scherp, Oboe 8' and Subbas 16'). The entire organ is installed in a swell box. The poor quality of the instrument quickly made it unusable. The organ was inaugurated on June 30, 1963 with a recital by Father Michael.
