Built by: Gebrüder Hillebrand GmbH Orgelbau KG (1982)
In 1982 Hillebrand built a new organ for the Walpurgiskirche in Alsfeld. During construction, the existing organ case of the old organ of the church was used again as the main work case, extended with pedal towers and a positive. The old case dates from the eighteenth century, but the builder and year of construction are unknown. In 1914 the firm Förster & Nicolaus built a new organ in the case. This was replaced in 1982. The organ was located in the choir of the church before 1982, but was moved to the west side of the nave in 1982.
