Joseph Merklin built an organ in 1878 for the Église Saint Laurent in Aubenas, France. The organ is entirely placed in a swell box, with the exception of both Principals and the Bourdon 16'. In 1987 it was restored by Charles B. Fisk and relocated to the United States as the choir organ of the House of Hope in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
