- The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Matthias in Berlin-Schöneberg was built in the years 1893-1895 and was dedicated on October 24, 1895. An old organ was temporarily bought for the church, which was replaced in 1914 by a completely new instrument. The building was severely damaged in the last years of World War II. The old organ was lost as a result.
- In 1946 Sauer placed an emergency organ in the church, which had been provisionally repaired. After a thorough repair of the building, Romanus Seifert delivered a large new organ in 1958 and the emergency organ was transferred to the Sankt Fideliskirche (Friedhofskirche). The Seifert organ was overhauled and expanded in 1974 by the same builder. In 1992/1993 Stockmann carried out a major overhaul. A new console was placed and the organ was further expanded.
