Built by: Goulding & Wood (1994) - opus 25
Goulding & Wood built a new organ for Christ Church Cathedral in New Orleans in 1994. The first organ was built in the cathedral in 1847 by Jardine & Co. This instrument was expanded in 1860, and replaced in 1922 by a larger organ from the Möller Organ Company (opus 3314), which still had fourteen stops from Jardine. Almost all of these fourteen stops were replaced when the new organ was built. The current instrument still has three stops from 1847.
