Gray Davison bouwden in 1853 een orgel voor de City Hall in Glasgow, dat twee jaar later werd voltooid. In 1876 is het instrument door hen verbeterd en gewijzigd. De firma T.C. Lewis & Co. leverde in 1905 een nieuw orgel voor het gebouw.
