In 1968 Paul Ott built a new organ for the parish church of Coburg. It was completely overhauled by Johannes Rohlf in 1998 and revoiced. The Ott organ replaced an instrument from 1872, built by Köllein & Hasselbarth. The previous organ dates from the eighteenth century. A proposal was submitted for this organ in 1866 for a conversion, but this was never carried out.
