Built by: Bedient Pipe Organ Company (1986) - opus 22
In July 1986, the company Bedient delivered a French Romantic style organ to Christ Church Cathedral in Louisville, Kentucky. In 1994 the organ was sold to the Cathedral of Saint John, Baptist in Charleston, South Carolina. It was inaugurated in this church in November 1995. The previous organ of the Cathedral, opus 139 by Skinner from 1907, has been demolished. A Cornet was placed on the Récit at the site of the Hautbois during the transfer and the Pédale was enlarged with a Contresousbasse. The organ was dedicated on November 17, 1995.
