In 1909/1910 bouwde Harrison & Harrison een groot orgel voor de kathedraal in Wells, Somerset. Bij de bouw werd veel materiaal overgenomen uit het vorige orgel, dat in 1857 was gebouwd door Henry Willis. In het orgel is ook nog pijpwerk aanwezig van Samuel Green uit 1786. Bij een restauratie in 1973 door Harrison & Harrison is een Positive toegevoegd en werd de intonatie herzien. Er is ook een nieuw front gemaakt naar ontwerp van Alan Rome. Het orgel werd in 1974 weer in gebruik genomen.
