- In 1724 Johan Niclas Cahman built an organ with two manuals and pedal and a total of 32 stops for Kristine Kyrka in Falun. This organ was demolished in 1852, because it was in very bad condition. Gustaf Andersson built a new organ in the church. Parts of the old organ were reused, the rest was sold to the neighboring church in Bjursas, where Andersson had also built a new organ. In 1906 a completely new organ was made by Setterqvist, with 30 stops. This organ is still present.
- In 1975 plans were made for a reconstruction of the Cahman organ. The front could not be reconstructed, as there were no images. In addition, the organ could no longer be placed in the old location on the west side, but had to be placed as a choir organ. The company Magnusson was awarded the contract for the construction. Architect Carl-Gustaf Lewenhaupt was appointed as a consultant. Lewenhaupt also designed the front. Some (parts) Cahman's registers still present were included in the new instrument. Herwin Troy designed the temperament for the organ on the basis of a positive from Cahman in the royal chapel of Drottningholm. The organ has been worked on for four years. The carvings are by Bertil Gustafsson, Östervala. The organ was inaugurated on Thanksgiving Day, 25 November 1982.
