Johann Christian Köhler built a two-manual organ for the Wallfahrtskirche Käppele in the years 1753-1755. The interior was replaced around 1900. The Vleugels firm built a new organ in the old cases in the style of Köhler in 1991. Consultants were Gregor Frede, cantor-organist of the church, and Paul Damjakob, cathedral organist in Würzburg. On November 24, 1991 the organ was dedicated.
