Gebaut von: Joseph Höß (1782)
Josef Höß placed a new organ in the Sankt Johanneskirche in Dischingen in 1782. The organ has largely been preserved. It did lose its front pipes in 1917, and part of the pipework was lost or damaged during a restoration by the Reiser company in 1939. The woodworm had also affected several wooden pipes. Reiser replaced part of this pipework with new ones according to the pipe-measurements. The missing Trompete of the pedal has been reconstructed on the basis of the remains. Finally, Reiser expanded the pedal compass from C-g° to C-d' using a pneumatic windchest. In 1985 the instrument was overhauled by the company Gebr. Link completely revised. They replaced the zinc pipes from 1939 with tin, and the pneumatic pedal chest for the notes gis°-d' was replaced by a mechanical slider chest
