- Johan Theodor Gilman built a new organ for the Sankt Nicolauskirche in Raeren. A new gallery was constructed by Matthias Schauff. The organ was renewed in 1850 by Peter Hahn.
- But in 1905, a new pneumatic organ was installed i the historic organ case by Johannes Klais. This organ had twenty stops, and some ranks were taken over from the previous work. This instrument was renovated in 1934 by the Joris company. They added a swell box, replaced the Fagott 8' of the Positiv with a Basson-Hautbois, and expanded the organ with to ranks on the Hauptwerk, Oktave 4' and Doublette 2'.
- The instrument was restored by Stephan Schumacher in 1963. He modified the character and specification to a more baroque concept, removed the swell box, lowered the wind pressure (from 90 to 60 mm) and revoiced the pipework.
- In the years 1991-1994 the organ was rebuilt by the company Weimbs. They constructed a new instrument with 24 ranks, that was designed in style of the organs of Gilman. The organ case and still existing historic pipework were re-used. The organ was dedicated on September 29, 1994.
