- The organ in the Église Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois in Paris was placed here in 1791 by Pierre-François Dallery and Claude-François Clicquot. It came from the Sainte-Chapelle. For this chapel it was built in 1757. The maker is unknown, the organ case was designed by Pierre-Noël Rousset. In 1771 the organ was rebuilt by François-Henri Clicquot and extended with a Positif de Dos. After the French Revolution, the chapel was closed for church services in 1790. The organ was transferred a year later by Pierre-François Dallery and Claude-François Clicquot to the Église Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois. It was also expanded with some registers. In 1813, Pierre-François Dallery made a few more alterations. The organist and composer Alexandre-Pierre-François Boëly was the organist of the church at this time.
- The organ was modified in the course of the nineteenth century by Louis-Paul Dallery (1826: new pedal reeds, 1840: new bellows), Pierre-Alexandre Ducroquet (1850) and Joseph Merklin (1865, 1872, 1880 and 1900). Laurent Plet carried out a technical restoration in 2005-2008. There are plans for a reconstruction to the condition of 1791.
