- In 1910, the Walcker company built a large concert organ for the concert hall of the Société Belge at the World Exhibition in Brussels. After the exhibition, the organ was moved to the main hall of the Cercle Royal Gaulois Artistique & Littéraire on Wetstraat in Brussels. A new front has been designed. The organ was put into use in 1911. The Cercle Royal Gaulois Artistique & Littéraire, also called Cercle Artistique for short, is a gentlemen's society, founded in 1847 and located in the large Vauxhall building on Wetstraat. The organ was located in the Salle des Cariatides.
- In 1936 the organ was sold to the Coppée family, who then donated it to the Abbey of Orval. A new front was designed for the abbey church by Henry Vaes, the architect who also designed the church. The arrangement of the works was changed during the transfer. The work was carried out by the Walcker company as opus 2478.
- The Stevens company rebuilt the organ in 1958-1959. The pipework was re-voiced by Edmond Costa. From Walcker windchests, bellows and large parts of the mechanics remained in use. A new console has been installed. The renewed instrument was put into service again on August 20, 1959. It was played by Emile Binet, organist of the Église Saint-Martin in Arlon and Paul Barras, organist of the Église Collégiale Sainte-Waudru in Mons.
