Gebaut von: C.B. Fisk Inc. (1985) - Opus 87

In 1985 Fisk built a new organ for the University of Michigan, based on the example of the Silbermann organ in the Sankt Georgen-Kirche in Rötha, Germany. It could be built thanks to a legacy from Judith Barnett Metz and Dr. Fred L. Metz. The instrument has been named the Marilyn Mason Organ, in tribute to Professor Marilyn Mason, who has done much for the University's Organ Department.
