The large concert organ in Sydney Town Hall is the largest instrument built by the firm Hill & Son. It was completed in July 1889 in the workplace, where it could be examined. Hereafter it was transported to Australia and installed in the Town Hall in 1890. On August 9, 1890 the inauguration concert was given by William Thomas Best.
