  • In de kathedraal van Exeter bouwde John Loosemore in 1665 een nieuw orgel. Het instrument werd verbouwd, gerestaureerd en uitgebreid in 1708 (Thomas Swarbrick), 1713 (James Parsons), 1726 (Shrider), 1744 (Abraham Jordan), 1754 (Crang), 1796 (Micheau), 1822 (Lincoln), 1839 (Cray) en 1859 (Willis). In 1876 herbouwden Speechly & Ingram het orgel waarna het 29 stemmen had. Zestien jaar later werd door Willis een nog groter orgel in de kas geplaatst met 57 registers, verdeeld over vier klavieren en vrij pedaal. Harrison & Harrison bouwden het huidige instrument in 1932-1933 in dezelfde kas, geadviseerd door Thomas Armstrong, organist van de kathedraal. Bij een restauratie in 1965 werd het vergroot met drie stemmen. Ditmaal was Lionel Dakers, organist van de kathedraal, adviseur bij de werkzaamheden. In 1985 voerde Harrison & Harrison opnieuw een revisie uit. Daarbij is de dispositie ingrijpend gewijzigd.
  • In 2013/2014 voerde de firma Harrison & Harrison een nieuwe restauratie uit.
