- In 1890, the first pipe organ of the Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in 's-Gravendeel was built by J.J. van den Bijlaardt. The instrument was a gift of mr. B. Naaktgeboren from Utrecht. Consultant was Johan A. de Vries, organist in Dordrecht. On May 26, 1890, Whit Monday, the organ was inaugurated.
- A fire on May 10, 1904, destroyed the church and the organ.
