In 1888 the Bakker & Timmenga company built an organ for the old Reformed Church in Baard, now called Gertrudiskerk. It was overhauled by the same company in 1918. Because the organ was almost unplayable, a restoration was carried out in 2019, by Bakker & Timmenga. Consultant was Theo Jellema. On February 7, 2020, the organ was inaugurated again. A concert was played by Simon Bouma, organ and Martijn van Dongen, recorder. There is still one spare slide on the chest.
