The Roman Catholic parish in Wolvega opened its own church building in 1861. In 1863 the company Adema supplied a two-manual organ for this church. In 1905 it was restored and modified by Adema. A new church was completed for the parish in 1914, where the organ was transferred to by Adema. Again a new church was built in 1939. Pels & Zn. was commissioned for this church. build a modern organ, but using much of the Adema pipework.
