Bâti par: N.S. Leyser (1901)
The Catholic parish in Steggerda got its own church building in 1839, which was consecrated on October 20, 1839. However, the parish still fell under Oldemarkt, and only became completely independent in 1851. A first organ was placed in the church around that time. It was sold in June 1885, but a cabinet organ had been used since 1874, which was bought from Klaas Otter from Oudeschoot. This instrument was placed on the choir. Despite repairs in 1889 by Leyser and 1894 by Maarschalkerweerd, it was not a properly functioning organ, which was discarded in 1903 and replaced by a harmonium. Twenty years later, an existing Leyser organ was bought from the parish church in Oosterbeek, which had been built in 1901. The organ was restored in 1967 by the Elbertse company.
